Honda decided the production of "Eoueib", "Partner", and "Crossroad" to be ended in around August.
It works on production at three models and Suzuka factories (Mie Prefecture Suzukashi), and it will end by the end of August.

Eoueib is a small wagon developed based on "Fit". The partner becomes a commercialization lingua business model based on Eoueib.
On the other hand, the crossroad is a crossover vehicle of the airflow 1・8-2・0-liter class.
Honda shows the policy of reviewing the merchandise mix in a mid/long term around the domestic exclusive use car, and executes it as this part this production end.

Eoueib is put on the market in April, '05. A present model was the first generation.
The partner who makes the second generation Eoueibbas improves all aspects in March, '06, and is a start lingua as for sales.
On the other hand, the crossroad is a product launch lingua in February, '07.
Depression continued since it was critical though three models had sustained a constant sales dimension before the economic crisis.

It will enter the electric car marketplace as three major companies of Japan become complete by this.

It has been decided to obligate a drastic amelioration of the fuel cost of the new car by 2016 so that the Obama political power may reduce the exhaust of the heat-trapping gas by the car in the world's largest auto market United States though Honda is making efforts to development and sales of the hybrid vehicle that combines the gasoline engine and the motor and runs.

Honda will aim at sales of the electric car that doesn't exhaust the heat-trapping gas while running in American market in the first half of the 2010's at all to correspond to this.

Honda plans to open the prototype car to the public for the first time in the Tokyo Motor Show that starts in October this year, and to accelerate the development of the electric car in the future though sales in the country are still undecided.

Nissan Motor will enter the electric car marketplace over the electric car as Toyota Motor also plans to market in the United States etc. in 2012 next year, and three major companies of Japan become complete.

The light car was reported to transfer the development of the light to Yachiyo Industry that had consigned the production of light cars in the subsidiary to prop up to Honda by one of the Nihon Keizai Shimbun Inc. morning newspapers on June 4.

It is negative in Honda in the forehead as "Our company did not announce, and there is no plan to transfer the development of the light car from Honda to Yachiyo Industry now".

However, it is exceptional to put out the comment on the denial after ten days or more have passed since it was reported, and the reason is unclear.
