Isuzu Motors agreed on the application of the U.S. Chapter 11 (Corresponded to the civil rehabilitation law of Japan) on the second and motion lingua U.S. General Motor Corp. (GM) and the partnership of the diesel engine joint investment etc. of the continuation agreed.
Isuzu has managed the engine joint investment in GM, the United States, and Poland. Besides this, vehicle mutual supply of the pickup truck etc. in foreign countries continues, too.
The both companies head conferred on the telephone on the same day, and the collaboration continuation agreed. Both of the diesel engine joint investment that both companies manage Isuzu is 40%, and GM is capital contributions as for 60%.
It supplies in GM in the United States and the total dose is supplied to German Opel respectively in Poland.
In GM, the Opel clearance to Canadian part major Magna International Inc. had already been decided, and the whereabouts of a Polish joint investment was a focus.
Now, it is scheduled that the system of management like the equity position etc. is assumed to be keeping things as they are.
